On the 16th of February CapAbility Careers was proud to host a breakfast event to create awareness around the rights of people with disabilities. We were honoured to have Dan Kekana, who is the Chairperson of Disabled People South Africa as our Guest Speaker. We were also blessed to have Vusi Mthembu from Nedbank who lent us his voice and talents as the Master of Ceremonies for the day. Our Managing Director, Pascalle Jacquelin addressed over 60 guests, from 32 companies. All in all, the day was a resounding success, and we look forward to hosting our next one.
Vusi Mthembu, our Master of Ceremonies, telling us of the story about his daughter asking him why he walks the way he does, and him telling her that that is the challenge he faces, but that it is not who he is.
Dan spoke with humility about bridging the gap in the workplace, and touched on issues about what candidates CAN achieve, rather than where their limitations lie.
Our Esteemed Guests, listening intently
Our Managing Director address: “While we understand that we our clients are our bread and butter, we are STRONG advocates for our candidates”
